 Adoption Corner
Rompin' Rovers is dedicated to not only to our clients and their beloved dogs, but also to the welfare of all animals. We strive to be involved in our communities, participating in events which help to raise awareness to issues such as the homeless pet population problem and the need to support local and national no-kill shelters and rescues, spay and neuter programs, and many other great causes.

The Humane Society of the United States estimates that 6-8 million pets enter shelters each year. Of those, approximately 3-4 million are euthanized. The need for homes for these pets is just far greater than many shelters can handle. Spaying and neutering your pet not only helps to prevent a surprise litter, it also decreases the risk of certain cancers in your pet. From time to time, we also have our own foster dogs, in need a loving home. Each foster dog has been checked by our preferred veterinary clinic, brought up-to-date on all required vaccines, and has been spayed or neutered. They have also participated in our doggie daycare program to gain crucial social skills.

If you are ready, willing, and able to commit to adding one of these lively members into your home team, we encourage you to download and complete our adoption application and schedule an appointment to meet these lively players at our facility.

Rescued Rover In Need of Good Home

Miss Molly was adopted!!  Congratulation Tara for adding Molly as your newest family member.  May you two enjoy many years together as loving companions.

Now we'd like to welcome Chopper and Cidni as two Rovers looking for loving homes.

Chopper and Cidni are both Rottweilers.  Chopper had been abandoned at our facility over a year ago and adopted out to a loving family who eventually added Cidni to their mix.  Unfortunately the family is suffering some life changes that will not allow them to continue to provide these two great dogs with a loving home so they have brought them to us so we can help in finding permanent homes for both dogs.

Chopper is approximately 7 years old and gets along well with people, children and other dogs.  He has been neutered and is current on all vaccines.

Cidni is less than a year old and will officially be up for adoption once she has healed from being spayed.

SPCA Mission:

MISSION & VISION: We believe that all living creatures have inherent value and are deserving of an acceptable quality of life. Euthanasia as a means of population control has no place in this vision. ACT's primary focus is high volume spay/neuter programs to reduce the number of companion animals entering Hillsborough County's shelter, and in turn, to eliminate euthanasia.

The Humane Society of Tampa Bay is dedicated to the welfare of all animals because of their intrinsic value and rights. Its primary purposes are the prevention of cruelty to animals, the relief of suffering among animals, the extension of humane education and the provision of shelter-based services.

http://www.BigCatRescue.org
Big Cat Rescue, a non-profit educational sanctuary, is devoted to rescuing and providing a permanent home for exotic (i.e. wild, not domestic) cats who have been abused, abandoned, bred to be pets, retired from performing acts, or saved from being slaughtered for fur coats, and to educating the public about these animals and the issues facing them in captivity and in the wild.
The sanctuary houses the most diverse population of exotic cats in the world, with 16 of the 35 species of wild cat represented among more than 100 residents. These include tigers, lions, leopards, cougars, bobcats, lynx, ocelots, servals, caracals and others, many of whom are threatened, endangered, or now extinct in the wild.
